1. New Orleans Saints
The Saints defense has been steadily improving over the last few weeks. Getting starters back from injury has been huge for them, and they are creating more pressure in the pocket as a result. A matchup against the struggling Broncos should help continue their success. Denver doesn’t do much well offensively and has had shaky play from their quarterbacks. New Orleans provides a safe floor with plenty of upside for owners.
2. Los Angeles Rams
Going up against the 49ers provides this unit a stable floor for fantasy teams. San Francisco has been bitten by the injury bug hard this season. They will be without their starting QB once again, and George Kittle’s absence has been a huge loss as well. The Rams have too much talent defensively to concede a high point total to a team of backups. Aaron Donald alone provides fantasy upside, so feel safe locking them into your lineup.
3. Green Bay Packers
An NFC North battle in the cold of late autumn is always an interesting affair. This Sunday will be no different, as the Bears and Packers duke it out at Lambeau Field. This is more of a play against Chicago rather than an endorsement of the Packers defense. The Bears are flat out untalented offensively, and locking down Allen Robinson is all that’s needed to strangle this unit. Green Bay should be able to do that and bring pressure against Nick Foles (if he plays) possibly forcing some turnovers.
4. Seattle Seahawks
Seattle has been horrible all season in pass defense, but facing the Eagles is a different scenario. Philadelphia can’t score points, and Carson Wentz has struggled mightily all season. They don’t have any talent in their receiving core, which should help the Seahawks perform better in this matchup. Wentz is leading the league in turnovers and this trend will likely continue Monday night. Jamal Adams and company make for a high upside fantasy play.
