Happy New Year Again! The season is over so the articles take a turn down football lane and do some prognostication and then strive for some football insight.
Great Football this week, highlighted by the Patriots at the Chargers. I’m actually flying out to Las Vegas, and have a Saturday evening flight. God Bless Jet Blue and their DIRECT TV!
After a week of slick footballs and near misses, four points separated me from a 4-0 week. In the end it was 2-2 but that is only interesting. Now the real fun begins.
Wildcard weekend is in the books, and though none of the wildcards won, there were some wild dramatics. Will there be upsets in store for next weekend since there weren't any this week?
...and then there were four. The Final Four as it were...the top two in the NFC advance, while the top two in the AFC are one and done. Four games, only 15 total points separating winner from loser.

Congratulations to Phyrre56! The 2006 Site Champion after winning the Great White Shark League in a hotly contested playoff match with Cantebury. Phyrre56 follows up his 2003 Site Championship with this outstanding performance, establishing him as the only two time champion. It was our pleasure to host the Shark Leagues for 2006 and we look forward to having you back in 2007.
