For you history buffs, we will archive every article penned by the Shark Team in 2006. As each week is finished, we will move the content to this page so you can reminisce about the good old days ... like week 1.
Can you say ridiculous, dominant, crazy running performance this weekend? I can. Watch Warrick Dunn run up and down the field and when he's on the sideline sucking oxygen, Jerious Norwood will be busting 60 yard runs and putting on a stiff arm clinic...
Shhh.I’m hiding from the man.You know, hiding from the man-book I owe money too since I was TERRIBLE last week on my picks. I picked like a policeman's favorite pastime. Ate a doughnut last week and went 0-2. I’m actually in Vegas for a couple weeks, had to leave town.Hope the boys don’t have any contacts out here to find me.
Games to Watch - Week 9 Tom Braun and Chris Dolfi, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Nov 3, 2006
This week the guys pull the best 3 games out of the lack-luster schedule, discuss fine wines, Archie's boy, and a prelude to Turkey Day. Heck, even CJ and his tooth bling make an appearance.
If your buddy tells you that he's getting married on a NFL Sunday, punch him in the face. Believe me, he deserves it.

The last bye week of the season is upon us. For you McNabb owners, you're probably 6-2 or 5-3 at the worst anyway, so you should have some room for error. For the rest of us, it's the home stretch with only five weeks remaining until most leagues begin their playoffs. Continue to play your studs and don't overthink your lineups. Reggie Wayne and Peyton Manning gave everyone a reminder last week why you always play your studs.
Where can you find Hemingway references, Styx lyrics, and tips to making fat chicks look better, all in the same place? In a trashy tabloid you say? In the Smithsonian? In Tom Arnold's memoirs? No way baby! You have no choice but to read this weeks Waiver Wire column to find out. Because there's more to life than fantasy football. Or so we hear...
Week Eight in Review Doug Coutts, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer Oct 30, 2006
Last week we had Vick to Crumpler three times, this week its Manning to Wayne. Oh, and a couple of guys named Johnson and Tomlinson had pretty good days as well.
I've read a few places that think this is a trap game for the Colts. The only trap you'll be seeing is a Joseph Addai RB-trap play followed by another TD strike to Marvin Harrison...
The Hive - Week 10 Gary Chamberlain, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Nov 10, 2006
I would like to share my pain with you, my IDP followers. I went into Monday night in a key matchup in my work league up 15 with Ken Hamlin to play, my opponent had Josh Brown and Julian Peterson to play. Hamlin got me a big fat ZERO and i lost by less than one point on Brown's final field goal of the night! I hate this game sometimes.
The Seadog Report Doug Gaskell, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Nov 10, 2006
The bye weeks are over and the contenders are starting to make their run for the playoffs. The 2nd half of the season is upon us, so let’s get to it.
Week 10 has it all, and the guys bring you the top 3 games that you simply can't miss this week. They take a look back at one of the all-time classics in boxing, Emmy-award-winning TV, and Hollywood sequels, all while filling your head with can't miss NFL action.
Brain and Braun Chris Dolfi and Tom Braun, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Nov 10, 2006
This week Brain and Braun talk about how to throw in the towel when your record is looking less than stellar, and where to throw it to get the best trade offers.
Bye weeks are finally over. It's time for the cream to rise to the top with everyone playing their best options. The Lions, Eagles, and Colts will light up the night sky this week as the Falcons, Broncos, Jags, and Pats will make their nose on the ground. Saddle up and get ready for the playoff run.

It's the stretch run baby! And best of all...the bye weeks are over! Chances are that you're in the playoff mix and even at this late point in the season, your squad just can't have too much depth. There's still some talent out there on the waiver wire, so drop the bums and flyers from your squad and get some quick and easy production NOW!!
Week 9 Jason Brichta, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Nov 7, 2006
The Super Bowl champions made an unprecedented run through and to the playoffs last year. Once again they are on a similar run; instead it is in the opposite direction. The Steelers are positioned to have the worst record for any defending Super Bowl championship in history.
Week Nine in Review Doug Coutts, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer Nov 6, 2006
Just when you thought the NFL season was settling down, we get what can only be described as Bizzaro Week.
Torry Holt owners, panic now. Adam Goldberg is now the guy standing between Marc Bulger and Torry Holt. Because of this situation, look for the Rams to be loaded to the teeth with screens to Steven Jackson on the right side, all day long...
OK, I’m back from Vegas....as for the Sports Book – I HIGHLY recommend the Mandalay Bay sports book, very well lit, clean, and enjoyable place to watch all the games. This week, it’s back to the sofa on the boiler room to watch the games, and answer the phones and take the bets.
This week the guys bring you the three games you just can't miss, shed some light on some shadows, and look to eat soft-shells with plenty of Old Bay. They also seem to suffer some short term memory loss, repeating themselves. They also seem to suffer some short term memory loss, repeating themselves.

Let's take a look at some of the match ups I like for week #11
The BetBot apologizes for a mistake he made a few weeks ago regarding Peter Frampton's car accident, and also discusses some fantasy players he likes. You don't want to miss the alternate lyrics for the first verse of "Baby, I Love Your Way".
Brain and Braun Chris Dolfi and Tom Braun, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Nov 17, 2006

Let me see what we have here.In this weeks daring episode of the Fantasy Virgin, a star RB goes down.A Giant letdown makes the way.And a K saves the day.
Fantasy points galore in week ten. "Ocho Cinco" indeed! Fast Willie was the MAN! That LT2 guy posted, ho-hum, another four TDs. QBs were so hot that Brett Favre threw for 347 yards and two TDs and that was good enough to rank FOURTH for QBs for the week. Here's hoping you have at least one of the white-hot players from last week carrying your squad into the playoffs.

One might think that after 10 weeks of hard-hitting NFL action, the waiver wire must look more empty than Paris Hilton's underwear drawer. But you'd be wrong! You'll have to click here to learn more...
Week Ten in Review Doug Coutts, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer Nov 13, 2006
Veteran's Day has come and gone, let's not forget the sacrifice of all the brave men and women that are serving to protect our freedom.
With a short week this week I wanted to get up what I could, fresh from the prediction factory floor. I'll continue to add to The Progno as Thanksgiving approaches.
The best holiday of the year is upon us which means football and stuffing yourself silly. There are nine players listed below that will be playing on Thursday so be sure to check your lineups and get everything settled prior to the first kickoff. You don't want to leave the dinner table to check on your #3 WR. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
We are entering my favorite time of the season. No, not Christmas season, rather the end of the season when teams pack it in, and when other teams push even harder. From that, I have a 10* game this week, my biggest play this year.
This week the guys bring you not only the top 3 games you simply can’t miss, but even a bonus Thanksgiving Day match-up to keep you entertained for the holiday. They also manage to squeeze in discussions on Nostradamus, author Thomas Wolfe, and prison tattoos. They even toss in a little football knowledge quiz.Does it get any better than this?!?[Editor: Not for free, it doesn’t.]
Week 11 Jason Brichta, Fantasy Football Staff Writer Nov 22, 2006
The season, as with every season, has been chock full of surprises. For some teams, it has been a rebirth and renewal to dominance, for some it is the same old story. And some, just boggle the mind.
4-7 and still alive to win my division. See, everybody has something to be thankful for this year--except for the TV viewers who have to deal with an almost completely horrid schedule of games this weekend.

With only another couple of regular season games left in the fantasy season, this was a tough week for McNabb, Jordan, and Kevin Jones owners, amongst others. All of this carnage on the injury front makes for an interesting waiver wire week.
Week Eleven in Review Doug Coutts, Fantasy Football Senior Staff Writer Nov 20, 2006
Plenty of zeros to go around this week, though one important zero got erased. I have this 'friend' that owns Chad Johnson and he benched him last week and then tried to trade him....
